Design concept: NHS Patient leaflet
This design involved the transformation of two pages of text into a visual representation.
The goal of the design was to:
- Ensure the leaflet was immediately identifiable with the NHS and service locations;
- Present clear and concise information;
- Significantly reduce reliance upon language to convey meaning;
- Make the leaflet easily modifiable, for use by multiple venues;
- Be mindful of leaflet size and colour usage, to minimise printing costs.
Virtual Tours
More recently, I have been involved with the development of Virtual Tours.
My introduction began with gaining experience of conducting photographic surveys of various environments, using a 360° camera. It isn't just a matter of turning-up and taking photographs; there is a good deal of pre-planning required.
This progressed to building Virtual Tours from an Instructional Design/Training perspective.

Recommendations
The recommendations listed below are taken from my LinkedIn Profile.Sally Beeston, E-learning Specialist
"Tim is a confident, knowledgeable and approachable instructional designer. I met him on his first day at Tribal when he was thrown in at the deep end at a client meeting. This did not phase him in the least and he was quickly able to contribute and put the client at ease. I have always found Tim to be responsive, communicative and hard working."
Dr. Naomi Newman-Beinart, Nutritionist and Specialist in Health Psychology
"Tim was an absolute pleasure to work with. Always professional, approachable and available via email, phone or Skype throughout the time of our contract (approx. 4 months). I wish him all the best in the future."
Judith Christian-Carter, Planning Consultant at JCC Planning
"I've been wanting to work with Tim on an eLearning project for some time and I'm so pleased that an opportunity arose recently to do just that. Tim's a really talented and creative instructional designer - I love his imagination, vision and understanding of how adults learn and his ability to design really engaging eLearning. He's also extremely hard working, never missed a deadline, a true team-player and readily absorbed everything that was thrown in his direction!
In addition to all these talents, he also possesses excellent technical knowledge of various programming languages, authoring and web tools. During all the often long and sometimes frustrating hours we worked together his great sense of humour was much appreciated. I very much hope that we have an opportunity to work together again before too long."
Paul Smith, Account Director at Blue Eskimo
"After completing a long partnership process, Tim has proved Instrumental in developing a business opportunity between Nonstop Engineering and an International e-Learning company. From initial contact to securing his position as Lead Instructional Designer, Tim has displayed professionalism and Integrity, as well as trust and honesty Tim is always polite and displays a high level of enthusiasm and energy about his profession. He has quickly built relationships with clients and customers, both UK and overseas, and is proving to be an asset to both client and agency."
